[ Between Stiles coming back a wreck and... well, Erica also coming back a wreck and alive, Derek's nerves have been a little frayed. If asked, he probably wouldn't have been able to tell anyone how much (or little) sleep that he got the entire week Stiles was missing, if only because the fact that his things were still in the mansion didn't really mean much of anything in the grand scheme of things. For as much as he hates what Wonderland does to them, he fears what could happen at home. What could happen in the unknown corners of this place.
His fears are, unfortunately, proven right by leaps and bounds with the way Stiles came back. It's led to a couple days where he's entrusted the pack to Scott, to Cora and Isaac, made sure that Erica was safe but had full focus on trying to keep Stiles together. Just touching him has automatically triggered his pain sapping, which is... bizarre. It's never happened like that before-- he's always had control over it-- but it's a staggering amount of pain.
That he willingly takes.
Exhausted as it leaves him, though, he's opted to do something small that requires a quick trip into the kitchen. Upon returning to their room, he has a box on-hand, he's immediately moving for Stiles, gravitating. ]
