[ A little while later, Derek's made the switch to voice so that he can continue searching, having tore through their floor, and not deal with texts. ]

We need to know you're all right, we-- [ There's a pause as he works his jaw a little, and he caves the slightest bit. His texts probably came off as mostly mad, but now it's obvious that he's just stupidly worried. ] I need to know.

If you can hear this, just. Call, okay? Somehow, doesn't matter how.

This is going to be so stupid if you've just been sent home, like Allison was. [ But he's sent the messages, and he's not going to take any of them back. The idea of Isaac being missing is freaking him out, but Stiles being gone is leaving him feeling strained. He will tear Wonderland apart if that's what it takes. ]

But I'm not going to stop looking for you until you either answer me or come back.

[ Or if your things go missing, but Derek refuses to say that despite the fact he knows it's an option. Probably the best one, given how awful Wonderland is. ]

[ This comes much later in the day, after he, Scott, and Allison have been looking through the entire mansion. Talking to Jo, and learning that people are missing-- ]

DAWN OF THE SECOND DAY

You were trying to take down mistletoe, weren't you? Your scent's everywhere that they're hanging up.

[ He absolutely has not slept since Scott called him, and now he's... trying to track Stiles' scent somewhere. ]

But you just-- you disappeared. You've been everywhere in the mansion but every trail is a day old or more. [ A slow sigh, giving him pause. ] Where are you, Stiles?

It's probably selfish to hope you remember everything when you come back. [ Not if. ]
Probably worse to want you to come back.
